Phil used to be a pharmaceutical sales rep, traveling across northern Wisconsin visiting urologists, handing out free pens and post-its. Then one day his big corporate parent decided they didn’t want him handing out pens and post-its anymore. We thought Phil was way too talented to work at the local Dairy Queen, so we hired him to sell ads for our Treatment Plant Operator magazine. At first it was hard for Phil, because we don’t give away pens, but he seems to be doing okay now.
