Headworks receives gold mine contract

Bingham & Taylor named Mark deLancellotti sales manager for the western United States and Brad Washburn sales manager for northeastern United States. deLancellotti will be responsible for water and gas customers in California, Washington, Oregon, Arizona, New Mexico, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Colorado, Nevada, North Dakota and South Dakota. Washburn will be responsible for water industry customers throughout New England.

Bionomic Industries releases product guide

The publication includes descriptions, capacities and use for Bionomic’s wet scrubbers, dry collectors, electrostatic precipitator devices, NOx control chemistry, reconcentration/byproduct production and waste heat recovery systems and accessories.

KROHNE offers Web-based training

KROHNE offers Web-based training on measurement technologies through its KROHNE academy. The audio-enhanced, interactive courses focus on either a measurement technology, such as variable area, vortex, ultrasonic or mass flow, or general topics, such as the basics of gas measurement or pipeline leak detection. Training is free and is not specific to individual products and/or industries.

Hanson Pressure Pipe achieves safety milestone

Hanson Pressure Pipe’s Grand Prairie, Texas, plant surpassed 1 million hours without a lost-time injury. Hanson employs 400 workers at its 400-acre site.

Passavant-Geiger acquires Johnson Screens

Passavant-Geiger, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bilfinger SE, acquired Johnson Screens. Based in New Brighton, Minn., the company manufactures mechanical components for the separation of solids from liquids and gases, offering related services from 11 locations worldwide. The products are used for the extraction and treatment of drinking water, wastewater and refining applications for the oil and gas industry.

Industrial Safety acquires Simtronics

Industrial Safety Technologies acquired Simtronics AS, based in Oslo, Norway, and Simtronics SAS, based in Aubagne, France. Simtronics produces and installs gas and flame detection systems.

McElroy releases catalog, reference guide

McElroy released its polyethylene pipe fusion catalog and reference guide. The catalog features product introductions, information on calculating fusion gauge pressure, facer blade replacement charts and pipe size reference charts. Copies are available for download at www.mcelroy.com/catalog.

Mitsubishi Caterpillar names president, executive VP

Mitsubishi Caterpillar Forklift America named Ken Barina president. He succeeds Hiroshi Nagai. Barina was vice president of corporate planning and services at MCFA. Nagai, who returns to a new assignment at MHI in Japan, served as MCFA president for two years. The company also promoted Kent Eudy to executive vice president of sales and marketing.

Hino Trucks dealer network app

Hino Trucks offers a dealer network mobile application that includes dealer locator and listing of dealerships based on a driver’s current location or by entering a city, state or ZIP code. The app, available through the Apple Store and Google Play, also offers HinoWatch roadside assistance, truck warranty information, specifications and a link to social media news.

SNR names partner in oil and gas practice

John J. Harris joined SNR Denton’s Los Angeles office as a partner in the oil and gas practice and the firm’s energy, transport and infrastructure team. Harris has 30 years experience representing oil and gas producers, working interest owners, land and mineral owners, financial institutions and public agencies on oil and gas, energy and environmental matters.

IMT names customer support manager

Iowa Mold Tooling Co., an Oshkosh Corp. company, promoted Laurie Johnson to customer support manager. She had served as manager of global procurement and supply chain.

Newpark Mats produces 250,000th composite mat

Newpark Mats & Integrated Services, a unit of Newpark Resources, produced its 250,000th Dura-Base advanced-composite mat at the company’s assembly line in Lafayette, La.

CRS expands solids control offerings

CRS Reprocessing Services expanded its offerings in the oil and gas industry, providing closed-loop drilling fluid solids control in addition to fluid reprocessing already available for air drilling and hydraulic fracturing. Closed-loop drilling fluid recycling has the ability to accommodate multiple fluid types, including oil-, water- and synthetic-based drilling muds.

Baldwin names vice president, director

Baldwin Filters promoted Steve Merritt to vice president of product engineering and promoted Dan Arens to director of global laboratory operations.

AMP completes Workhorse acquisition

AMP Holding, through a newly formed subsidiary, AMP Trucks, completed acquisition of the Workhorse brand, logo, IP, patents and assembly plant from Workhorse Custom Chassis, a wholly owned affiliate of Navistar International Corp. The Union City, Ind., assembly plant has the capacity to produce up to 30,000 chassis a year. AMP plans to produce step-vans and other vehicles for the North American medium-duty commercial truck market at the plant.

McCutcheon, TEEMCO named companies of the year

McCutcheon Enterprises was named Drilling & Well Services Company of the Year for 2012 at the Oil & Gas Awards NE Banquet in Pittsburgh. MEI also was a top-five finalist in Trucking Company of the Year and Water Management Company of the Year. Oklahoma-based TEEMCO received the Environmental Initiative of the Year Award at the Rocky Mountain Oil & Gas Awards presentation in Denver, Colo. The award recognizes technological development or projects that aid in reducing oil and gas industry impact on the environment.

SEI hosts Colombia’s counselor for foreign affairs

SEI Industries hosted Jairo Clopatofsky Ghisays, the counselor of foreign affairs from the Consul General of Colombia to learn more about SEI and its products. SEI is working on three projects for Colombia’s civil defense system and other government entities.

Bushong has 30 years experience in oilfield, gas and industrial sales, operations and management.

Martin Engineering offers custom-engineered vibration technology for manufacturers of shakers, separators, wash plants and other process equipment that use vibration as a working force. Design and engineering will be performed at Martin Engineering’s Center for Innovation, Research and Development in Neponset, Ill.

HGH security system selected for natural gas platform

The IR Revolution 360 panoramic security system from HGH Infrared Systems was chosen to provide 24-hour security for the Prelude Floating Liquefied Natural Gas Platform off the coast of Australia. Two surveillance systems will be located at the bow and stern of the platform.
