Franklin Electric relocates headquarters

Franklin Electric relocated to its new World Headquarters and Engineering Center in Fort Wayne, Ind. The 118,800-square-foot facility houses the company’s headquarters staff of 245 with room for future growth, as well as a 24,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art testing lab.

DHR International names global head of mining

DHR International named Jill Schofield the company’s global head of mining, a subsector of DHR’s Industrial Practice Group. Schofield will serve as DHR’s managing director and executive vice president for Western Canada and is based in the firm’s Calgary office. She also will continue as a leader within DHR’s Industrial Practice Group.

Baldwin employees receive achievement award

Baldwin Filters employees Craig Simmons and James Whitesel received the CLARCOR Achievement Award. Simmons, setup specialist, was recognized for being a key resource in providing operational knowledge and insight in the equipment design and operation for the upgrade of spin-on filter lines in the company’s Kearney, Neb., and Yankton, S.D., facilities. Whitesel, production supervisor, was recognized for his contributions related to a new can-making line and sensor plate work cell at the Kearney plant and training support at the company’s Morocco facility.

GPS Insight moves headquarters

GPS Insight moved its headquarters to the top floor of the Henkel Building in Scottsdale, Ariz. The new location includes 50,000 square feet of office space, shared 150-person training stadium, cafeteria, gym, rooftop garden and underground employee parking.

AquaMost appoints chief operating officer

AquaMost appointed Mark Henrickson chief operating officer. He had served as the company’s chief financial officer since March 2012 and will continue to lead its financial management strategy as well as day-to-day operations.

Alcoa, AMRTUR reach supply agreement

Alcoa Oil & Gas, an Alcoa business, reached a supply agreement with AMRTUR for its Alco Aluminum Alloy Drill Pipe (AADP). Alcoa will supply AMRTUR with 20,000 feet of 5 7/8-inch AADP for use in offshore applications in Southeast Asia.

Vac2Go names manager, adds to fleet

Vac2Go named Jason Harville Southeast territory manager and added 2014 Guzzler Classics with HXX hydroexcavation packages to its fleet. The trucks, with 28-inch HG blower for wet/dry industrial cleaning, 18-yard debris body, telescoping boom and 600-gallon water tank will service the company’s Rock Hill, S.C., Hopewell, Va., and LaGrange, Ky., locations.

GapVax features Orange County Chopper at Expo

GapVax celebrated its 25th anniversary by commissioning a custom-built chopper motorcycle from Orange County Choppers. Unveiled in November, the bike’s fabrication was featured on the CMT Network as part of the new Orange County Choppers TV series. The customized motorcycle will be on display in Booth 6004 at the Pumper & Cleaner Environmental Expo International, Feb. 24-27. Paul Teutul Sr., founder of Orange County Choppers, also will be on hand.
