Light Tower Rentals Inc. (LTR) has completed its acquisition of Riverside Rentals LLP, located in Williston, N.D. This acquisition continues the expansion of LTR’s surface equipment rental and service offerings in the Bakken Shale and more specifically, in the northern portions of North Dakota and Montana. LTR already operates out of facilities in Dickinson, Minot and Stanley, N.D.

LTR, a privately held oilfield services company, provides generators (diesel and natural gas), light towers, heaters, frac tanks, office trailers, emergency shower trailers, and other surface equipment and related services to its customers. The company operates from a national network of facilities located strategically to service key U.S. resource plays in 16 states.

“The focus of Bradford Parkinson and his field service team on exceptional customer service is a perfect fit with LTR’s ‘First in Service’ model,” said LTR President Ted Hogan. “With LTR’s more comprehensive service offering, the Williston team will immediately be able to offer more surface rental solutions for their customer’s needs.”

Pat Bond, COO of LTR added, “Riverside’s excellent reputation, and their location in Williston, gives LTR an opportunity to better service our clients in the Northwestern part of the Bakken play. We are very happy to bring Riverside employees into the LTR family to continue the assurance of superior service that has been the commitment of both companies.”

Hogan is confident the partnership will greatly benefit both companies. “This expansion allows our company to better meet the operational needs of our North Dakota customers and provide excellent customer service from a local facility,” he says. “Focusing on the needs of our customers is what we have been doing from the beginning, which has been 20 years as we celebrate our anniversary.”
