Aquatech awarded Zero Liquid Discharge project in China
Aquatech International Corporation has been awarded a contract to provide a water treatment facility that includes a Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) plant for a coal-to-liquid fuels conversion project being developed by Shenhua Ningxia Industry, a division of Shenhua Group, China’s biggest coal producer. The ZLD plant will recycle over 55 million liters per day of wastewater generated by the 4 million tons per year CTL plant and eliminate all wastewater discharge.

Endress+Hauser, Rockwell Automation invest in training unit
Industry partners Endress+Hauser and Rockwell Automation contributed to a $1 million, 1,800-square-foot Process Training Unit (PTU) at BridgeValley Community and Technical College in South Charleston, West Virginia. The BridgeValley PTU will serve companies that are seeking workforce training for their employees and customers and for students to utilize as they pursue their degree programs.

Gehl welcomes Caliber Equipment to dealer network
Gehl has announced that Caliber Equipment has joined its dealer network. Caliber Equipment provides sales and service to Vancouver, British Columbia, and the surrounding areas for Gehl track loaders, skid loaders, compact excavators, telescopic handlers and articulated loaders.

JCB celebrates 70th anniversary
JCB marked its 70th anniversary Oct. 23 by giving its employees around the world a day off. The day also marked the introduction of the JCB limited edition backhoe loader, a version of the 3XC super backhoe model. A total of 70 of the specially made machine will produced, which feature the vintage look last seen 40 years ago on the JCB 3CIII model.

Michels safety campaign wins international acclaim
Michels is honored to be a runner-up in the 2015 International Pipe Line and Offshore Contractors Association (IPLOCA) Health and Safety Award sponsored by Chevron. Michels received the recognition for its “Promise Me” campaign, a powerful video campaign that featured employees’ families poignantly asking their loved ones to promise to always work safely. This IPLOCA award recognizes significant achievements in the health and safety field. 

McLaren Industries opens R&D facility to support North American OEMs
McLaren Industries has expanded in an effort to increase services to its customers in the U.S. and North America as a whole. The leading U.S.-based manufacturer of OEM and aftermarket tracks and tires recently opened a new research and development facility in Jacksonville, Florida, illustrating the company’s flexibility and expertise in the field.

Ox Bodies welcomes new Ox Trailers sales manager
Ox Bodies is pleased to announce the addition of Gene Dorsey in the newly created position of Ox Trailers Sales Manager. Dorsey will be responsible for all sales of Ox Bodies’ Trail Ox Series end-dump trailers. Dorsey comes to Ox Bodies with over 20 years industry experience, most recently with Clement Industries and Warren Truck & Trailer.

RapidView names new training and installation expert
RapidView IBAK North America has announced the appointment of Richie Notz as the company’s new training and installation expert. Notz, who has years of experience in pipeline inspection and training, was previously a field supervisor for a pipeline inspection company.
