In this week's news update, the first cargo shipment of shale gas shipping from the US is underway, and a new crew camp opens in Texas.


Petroleo Brasileiro SA, Brazil’s state-owned energy company, is scheduled to receive the first cargo of shale gas to be shipped from the U.S., according to Bloomberg news services.

The shipment was agreed to on Feb. 22, the story says. Cheniere Energy began loading the first tanker at its Sabine Pass terminal in Louisiana, according to the U.S. coast guard.


New Crew Camp Opens in Texas
The first workers arrived at a new crew camp located in Loving County, Texas, last week.

The 77,180-square-foot Anadarko Wolf Camp, built by Target Logistics, is exclusive to Anadarko employees and contractors. The new facility gives Anadarko the flexibility to expand support of potential growth and future activities in the Delaware Basin.

The camp features 220 bedrooms with private bathrooms, a 24-hour dining room, recreation building, housekeeping services, self-service laundry, 24-hour security and controlled access entry.

It also contains 30 offices and several conference rooms.
