Denso offers training videos, product gallery

Denso released petrolatum training videos and an online product gallery. The videos show different methods of applying petrolatum tapes on straight pipes and irregular surfaces. The videos and product gallery can be viewed at www.densona.com.

Flowserve names vice presidents

Flowserve Corp. named Carey A. O'Connor senior vice president, general counsel and secretary. She succeeds Ron Stuff who is retiring in the first quarter of 2013 after 25 years with the company. Flowserve Corp. also named John E. (Jay) Rouche III vice president, treasurer and investor relations. He will be responsible for managing strategies, operations and practices related to corporate finance.

Steinert celebrates grand opening, presents check

Steinert US, supplier of separation equipment for the material recovery industry, celebrated the grand opening of its North American headquarters in Walton, Ky. The remodeled 40,000-square-foot facility houses administrative offices, expanded parts warehouse, test lab and manufacturing and repair operations. The company also presented a check for $26,298 to Cincinnati Children's Hospital on behalf of its customers, vendors and industry partners who participated in the September Charity Golf outing.

Lucidity Enterprise acquires Optronics International

Taiwan-based Lucidity Enterprise Co. acquired Optronics International, manufacturer and supplier of heavy-duty vehicle lighting. Optronics will operate as an independent business unit and maintain its headquarters in Tulsa, Okla., manufacturing facility in Muskogee, Okla., and distribution center in Elkhart, Ind.

FCI releases CD product, services catalog

The FCI flow/level measurement product and services catalog CD release 13.0 from Fluid Components International assists engineers in specifying flow, level or temperature instruments for improving plant process control lines or increasing OEM equipment performance. Timken names off-highway business director

The Timken Co. named Ian J. Faass director of off-highway business. He had served as general sales manager for off-highway growth.

PSG opens China manufacturing facility

Pump Solutions Group opened a manufacturing plant in Shanghai, China. The 11,000-square-meter facility includes pump manufacturing and testing, hydraulic lab for on-site product testing, training room and product showroom.

Dixon acquires Eagle America

Dixon, manufacturer and supplier of hose fittings and accessories, acquired Eagle America. Established in 1979 and based in Warwick, R.I., Eagle manufactures gate and globe bellows seal valves. It will become a division of Dixon. Manufacturing facilities, administrative offices and employees will remain in Rhode Island.

Hino approved for California hybrid incentive

The 2013MY Class 5 195h diesel electric cabover from Hino Trucks is approved by the California Air Resources Board and is eligible for the California Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project. The program was created to accelerate deployment of hybrid and zero-emission medium- and heavy-duty vehicles and vehicle technologies.

Mueller Systems, Internap form partnership

Mueller Systems, provider of water infrastructure products and advanced metering systems for water and gas, partnered with hosting services company Internap to provide reliable and secure access to metering data through the advanced metering infrastructure network.

Plasti-Bond names S-Squire sales representative

Plasti-Bond named S-Squire its product representative for New Mexico. Plasti-Bond supplies PVC-coated galvanized rigid conduit and fittings.

Powerblanket moves to new facility

Powerblanket moved its offices to a 58,000-square-foot facility at 3130 S 1030 W, Salt Lake City, Utah. The new location includes a warehouse and 50- by 100-foot product testing freezer.

GSE Systems launches global brand, website

GSE Systems launched a global brand that highlights its commitment to quality and innovation in simulation, training and engineering services for the petroleum industry. The company also launched a new website, www.gses.com, and acquired TAS Engineering Consultants and EnVision Systems. GSE will use the EnVision name as the trademark for product lines acquired in the transaction, including e-learning tools, tutorials and universal simulations.

Felling hires lead product engineer

Felling Trailers hired Kyle Wald as lead product engineer, responsible for new trailer designs and enhancements.

ITT plans $22 million Seneca Falls expansion

ITT Corp. will invest $22 million in its Seneca Falls, N.Y., manufacturing operations, research and development laboratory. The move was driven by the growth of ITT and its Goulds Pumps brand in the global oil and gas industry. The expansion will include construction of a 75,000-square-foot facility, focusing on high-energy pump packages. The project is scheduled for completion late this year.

Gehl, Manitou add Kirby-Smith to dealer network

Gehl and Manitou added Kirby-Smith to its dealer network. Kirby-Smith is the authorized dealer in Texas and Oklahoma for Gehl skid loaders and truck loaders and Manitou construction telescopic handlers.

VAC2GO opens Richmond office

VAC2GO opened a vacuum equipment rental office in Richmond, Va., serving Richmond, Newport News, Norfolk and Washington, D.C. The company's third branch rents Guzzler Classic and ACE vacuum trucks, as well as Vactor combination units, vacuum truck hoses and accessories.

TBEI names Ox Bodies general manager

TBEI named Terry Campbell general manager of Ox Bodies. He will oversee operations and sales at the company's Fayette, Ala., facility.
