COLE Publishing owner Bob Kendall has announced the sale of the Water & Wastewater Equipment, Treatment & Transport Show to Informa Exhibitions, effective immediately. The WWETT Show is the world’s largest trade show for environmental service professionals.

Kendall will retain COLE Publishing, publisher of Pumper and Cleaner magazines, along with seven other titles dedicated to the water and wastewater industry, including Gas, Oil and Mining Contractor.

“I recognized that if I was passing the torch on the WWETT Show, I needed to take care of three families: my own, all of the COLE employees, and the family we’ve built around this show for the past 36 years,” Kendall says. “I truly believe the partnership we’ve established with Informa favorably satisfies those objectives. This connection will be filled with new opportunities for WWETT exhibitors and attendees alike. Although it will be very difficult to step away, I am excited for the future of the WWETT Show and all involved.”

Originally called the Liquid Waste Haulers Show, the WWETT Show attracts over 14,000 environmental service professionals and exhibitors from 53 countries.

“Our partnership with Informa allows the WWETT Show to grow, yet maintains the relationships we’ve carved out over nearly four decades of building the event, our publications and websites,” says Kendall. “I look forward to being a part of moving the WWETT Show forward and still maintaining a place in the industry that means so much to me.”

As part of the agreement, COLE Publishing and its publications will continue to be involved in the WWETT Show.
