OMB Valves locates in Texas
OMB Valves Inc. of Italy began construction of its Western Hemisphere headquarters in Stafford, Texas. The 42,000-square-foot, $5.5 million first phase will include a manufacturing facility. A second phase of the project will double the size of the facility in two to five years.
Industrial Scientific moves to new facility
Industrial Scientific Canada ULC moved to Unit 140, 120 Pembina Road, Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada. Twice the size of its previous location, the new facility has greater technician space, larger training room and warehouse.
OPW Fluid names Wei VP-Asia/Pacific
OPW Fluid Transfer Group, a Dover company, named Richard Wei vice president-Asia/Pacific. He will be responsible for OPWDTG’s operations in Suzhou, China, and Chennai, India, as well as sales and marketing in the Asia/Pacific region. He will be based in Dover’s Shanghai regional headquarters.
D & W Diesel builds addition to production center
D & W Diesel is building a 55,000-square-foot addition to its production and distribution center in Auburn, N.Y. The addition brings the building’s total footage to 110,000 square feet. The company also is expanding production facilities. Construction is scheduled for completion in spring 2012.
Hino receives customer satisfaction recognition
Hino Trucks ranks highest in customer satisfaction among conventional medium-duty trucks according to the J.D. Power and Associates 2010 Medium Duty Truck Customer Satisfaction Study. The engine and customer satisfaction studies measured customer perceptions of 2010 model-year Class 5, 6, and 7 trucks equipped with both gasoline and diesel engines.
J&J Truck hires regional sales manager
J&J Truck Equipment, division of Somerset Welding & Steel, hired Chris Durborow as regional sales manager. Based in Camp Hill, Pa., he will be responsible for truck equipment sales in eastern Pennsylvania.
Kenworth names 2012 Dealer Council
Kenworth Truck Co. named its Dealer Council for 2012. Members include Tim Murphy, chairman; Tom Bertolino, Brett Hartman, Bob Mitchell, Jim Moeller, Mike Murphy and Vince Tarola. Jim Hartman serves as the Kenworth American Truck Dealers line representative and Kyle Treadway serves as ATD chairman.

Plibrico Company LLC named Guy Nielsen Co. to its network of refractory contractors. Headquartered in Pocatello, Idaho, Nielsen designs and constructs thermal, chemical and abrasion-resistant linings.
Polar names Painter president
Polar Corp. named Jim Painter president of Polar Tank Trailer. He was president of Quality Trailer Products, a Polar company, since 2000. Painter will be responsible for division performance, including three manufacturing plants, dealer network and strategic initiatives.
