StoneAge Receives Export Award
StoneAge Tools Inc. received the Governor’s Award for Excellence in Exporting at World Trade Day 2011 in Denver. The award recognizes Colorado companies that demonstrate a commitment to international trade. StoneAge was recognized in the small manufacturer category as a world leader in providing tools and equipment for waterblast cleaning. Based in Durango, Colo., the company, which exports to 43 foreign countries, also received a site visit from the governor in June.
Atlas Names Berry Service Coordinator, Distributor
Lauren Berry was appointed service coordinator for Atlas Copco CMT USA LLC in Baltimore. She had been service administrator in the Tucson branch since 2007. Atlas Copco also named James River Equipment of Ashland, Va., as a distributor for blasthole rigs and other surface drilling rigs and equipment in North Carolina.
Abresist Names Matcovich Northeast Representative
Abresist Kalenborn Corp. named Dale Matcovich Northeast Territory representative. He will be responsible for Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, Delaware, New Jersey, Maryland and portions of New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, New Hampshire, Vermont and Maine.
UniPure Airlifts Oil-Water Separators to Nuclear Plant
UniPure airlifted three oil-water separators to the severely damaged Fukushima Daiichi nuclear power plant in Japan. The units can process up to 250 gpm and were used to remove floating debris, suspended solids, oils and grease from contaminated water.
